With this you are the king of the road: The M99 PRO 2 is the brightest e-bike front light legally approved in Germany. With a high beam of up to 3,000 lumens and 450 lux, the 16-LED matrix sets new standards. The front light has an intelligent control center that manages components with short-term high power consumption such as a horn or a USB. A light sensor automatically switches between the new SMD LED daytime running light module and the low beam in fractions of a second. The completely redesigned aluminum housing and tempered front glass protect the optics and electronics from all environmental impacts with protection level IP67. All materials are subjected to stringent quality controls during production of the front light in Gundelfingen, Germany. The front light is available in two versions - for fast E-bikes with an E-number and for 25 km/h bikes with a K-number approval.

The battery is charged to 80% in just 1.5 hours and provides up to 50 hours of maximum luminous time at 100%. The SUPERNOVA M99 DY PRO is the world's first dynamo-operated LED front light with high beam function and German road code approval. With its matrix of 11 LEDs and new control electronics, the new SUPERNOVA M99 DY PRO produces light values up to 1,000 lumens and 200 lux. Prior to this, only high-performance front lights for E-bikes could achieve such values. As a result, the classic mountain bike gains a stronger environmental focus as well as an equal level of safety in road traffic. Once installed, the headlight is completely maintenance-free. It can illuminate the way in front of you for years and its intensity is always optimally adapted to your speed. Within a fraction of a second of entering a tunnel, the headlight switches to a bright, dipped beam with a luminous flux up to 600 lumens.

In general, the M99 DY Pro is compatible with any standard 6V/3W hub dynamo. An exception to this is the SONdelux hub dynamo from Schmidts Original, as its voltage curve is flatter. Consequently, the M99 DY Pro does not achieve its full power with this model, and the high beam is only available at a significantly higher speed. The SON28 is better suited for this purpose.

Our dynamo headlights provide 6V direct current to the taillight. Many taillights from other manufacturers require alternating current for proper functioning. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the correct operation of taillights from other manufacturers. In case of doubt, please inform yourself about the connection requirements of your taillight.

TL3 MAX

The TL3 MAX is the most powerful German road approved SUPERNOVA tail light to date. The 52 power LEDs generate nearly 8-times the luminous intensity of the brightest approved rear lights currently available in the market when the brake light is activated. During heavy deceleration, the emergency brake light blinks. Similar to the smaller TL3 PRO, the MAX version also features a highly precise 3-axis sensor and triggers the brake light without the need for a special brake lever. The bright and uniform light signature ensures increased visibility even from the side. The TL3 MAX operates on 12 volts and consumes a maximum of 4 watts, making it compatible with most of the currently popular e-bike motors. The TL3 PRO is the first SUPERNOVA tail light with a sensor brake light and an emergency strobe. A high-precision 3-axis sensor controls the brake light and thus works for the first time without special brake levers. During braking, the taillight becomes almost 70% brighter than brake lights were allowed to be according to German road law approval (StVZO) until recently. Universal HBM

Our universal handlebar mount is available in two sizes (ø 31.8 mm or 35 mm) and fits almost all SUPERNOVA headlights (except for the special HBM versions and the AIRSTREAM battery headlight, there are special holders for each).

The anodized, matt black holder made of aluminum, can be hinged for mounting and can be mounted on both the left and right side. The stem width should be a maximum of 44mm and the holder requires a free clamping area of 12mm.

SUPERNOVA TEAM WINS THE CITY CYCLING EVENT: STADTRADELN 2020!

Our team consisting of 16 employees cycled 6,399 km within 21 days and saved 941 kg CO2. A great thing for the team spirit and something good for the environment, the city cycling campaign “Stadtradeln” wants to get people on their bikes and encourage them to leave their cars behind more often. The municipality Gundelfingen took part in this action and so 18 teams with altogether 156 participants registered and could measure themselves mutually that spurs naturally.

We’re looking forward to a repeat and until then we’ll do something good for ourselves and the climate and continue cycling. You can find more information about city cycling and whether your municipality is involved here: https://www.stadtradeln.de/home
