An outstanding feature of the M99 MINI PURE 25 is its powerful low beam, which can even compete with many motorcycle headlights. The light carpet of the five automotive LEDs is so balanced and uniform that oncoming traffic isn't dazzled. Yet it illuminates everything relevant for the safety of a night drive. In addition, the front light is extremely easy to mount on an E-bike.

Based on scientific research by the Lichttechnical Institute at KIT and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, the M99 introduced a lighting technology that sets completely new standards in bicycle lighting. An LED matrix, controlled intelligently and combined with a highly complex facetted mirror consisting of 99 individually calculated surfaces, is designed for unprecedented brilliance. After years of development, it has thus become possible for the first time to pack highly potent automotive technology into the miniature format of a bicycle front light.

We use aerospace aluminum for our housings because it is not only super strong but also has the best heat conduction properties. The better the cooling, the brighter the LED. In addition, the housings are anodized, salt water-resistant, and defy the most adverse conditions. Extreme tests in all seasons and climates by ultracycling athletes on the road with SUPERNOVA lighting prove their outstanding reliability and durability.

High performance with the best possible efficiency is our credo. The enormous brightness values of our headlamp systems can only be achieved by elaborate cooling of the high-performance LEDs. Because the better an LED is cooled, the brighter it shines. The service life is also greatly extended by good cooling. The most important prerequisites for ideal heat dissipation include careful material selection and sophisticated design. For example, completely uninterrupted heat dissipation can only be achieved by a housing seamlessly made from a single piece of aluminum. In extreme situations, an integrated heat sensor also keeps the headlamp within the optimum temperature range at all times. Using computationally intensive computer simulations, our engineers find the most suitable way to dissipate heat from the LEDs in advance. Our more than 20 years of experience with LED headlights comes into its own here.
